Is it just me? It is dark and nasty things happen in the world every day. But somehow I am positive, somehow I feel a change in the air. After what happened in Norway last summer, there was a sense of communality in all the press. We are in this together, and it will make a difference. Benetton is having same thoughts. Their new campaign is called Unhate and they invite the leaders and citizens of the world to combat the ”culture of hatred”. United Colors of Benetton has also created the unhatefoundation.org aiming to be a think tank seeking to contribute to the creation of a new culture of tolerance. Naive maybe, but it can make a difference. They say optimists have more fun than pessimists. I try to remember that. Kiss to everyone for that.
Ikäviä asioita tapahtuu maailmassa joka päivä. Silti tuntuu, että ilmassa on muutosta positiivisempaan suuntaan. Norjan tapahtumien jälkeen lehdissä oli paljon puhetta yhteisöllisyydestä ja siitä miten pahalle ei anneta valtaa. Benetton on samoilla linjoilla uuden kampanjansa kanssa. Unhate-kampanja kutsuu maailman johtajat ja kansalaiset kamppailuun vihan kulttuuria vastaan. Benetton myös perustanut unhatefoundation.org-ajatushautomon ajatuksen ympärille.
