About Me

MA: Visual Culture, IDBM, BA: Fashion

International Trend Analyst, Speaker, Lecturer, and Designer

I am a Futures Thinker, Designer, and Journalist. working extensively in many areas and interests; however, design is my first love. My main job is to look for a change in everything I see, to gather information, and to analyze everything in a wider context. Simply to garner ideas about where the futures might be heading.

I teach emerging talents as a Senior Lecturer at the LAB Institute of Design. LAB University of Applied Sciences, Lahti, Finland.

Design for the planet, sustainability issues, customer centricity, and changes in consumer behaviour as well as values are interesting ingredients for my work.

Traveling to interior fairs and writing about what I see is an important part of my work as a journalist. I also lecture about it in Finland and abroad. Additionally, I curate exhibitions linking visual and societal trends and regenerative ideas. Being a speaker and moderating panel discussions is part of my repertoire as well.

Between 2015-2022 I created, curated, and produced Signals, the official trend installation of Habitare fair, combining societal as well as interior and living trends. Since 2016 we curated it together as a team with Sisse Collander. Signals gained wide recognition both in Finland and internationally.

I create visual reports for companies helping them to see change around us and to make futures-related decisions for their strategy work.

Colour is also one of my passions, working as a colour consultant is highly inspiring.
