Houses and apartments have a soul. You sense it immediately when you walk in. Some places are touching, some not. It has nothing to do with the state or style of the renovation, or money that has been put towards the decoration. My dear friends have bought a wonderful house in Brussels. The house dates back to 1895 and it has so many stories to tell. The renovation is going on but a lot of old spirit is kept. The tile floors downstairs are something else. I can almost hear the sound of ample long skirts sweeping the floor.
Uskon, että taloilla ja asunnoilla on sielu. Sen vaistoaa heti, kun kävelee sisään. Toisten paikkojen tunnelma liikuttaa, toisista haluaa pois. Eikä sillä ole tekemistä tilan tyylin, kunnon tai remontin kanssa. Rakkaat ystäväni ovat ostaneet Brysselistä talovanhuksen, joka on rakennettu 1895. Ihana talo, jolla on monta tarinaa. Monen sukupolven kerrostumia ja tavaroita. Näillä upeilla lattioilla on kävelty runsaat hameenhelmat kahisten, sen voi melkein kuulla.
